Big Daddy Kane
Whew, Hot and Spicy Kane Bad took over managing his brother’s music career and Band. It Brothers wife told him to. Heck out a band of a friend of hers Surge. Surge was a small town band with the spicy mouth Sable Montgomery. Sable was all about family and her auto repair shop. So when Kane break down on the side of the road Sable was not who he expected. He finally convinced her to open up for his brothers band Bad Intentions. Boy of boy does things heat up.
Too Corny, too Egotistical, too everything..
It was either too corny, or too boring. I couldn’t get into it. The ego talk was overblown and the story line didn’t seem realistic, at all.
Loved BDK and Sable
Falling For Mr. Bad is the 11th book in The Bradens and Montgomery’s/Bad Boys After Dark crossover but can be read as a standalone. I loved dipping back into this rocker world. We finally get Sable and Kane’s story. She’s a rocker, singer, and auto shop owner and he is a business owner, and currently managing his brothers band. These two have so much in common that they hate to love each other. They are both fiercely independent, extremely protective, and feel a strong sense of responsibility for their loved ones. From the beginning we are hit with the sass, the banter, the push, pull, and chemistry between these two. They are both so complex, so loyal, headstrong, and they challenged each other. Of course we get the angst, the secrets, the pressures of the music industry, the broken/strained relationships. But, we also get the scorching hot chemistry, the protectiveness, the jealousy, the hopes, and dreams when you let yourself fall. Seeing these two open up in ways that were new to them was so addicting to read. I couldn’t put this book down. Big Daddy Kane was just the perfect person for Sable. Loved getting the updates on the rest of the clan. Great read. Can’t wait to read the new series.
